Sarah Burton sure had a lot of pressure to have to continue what Alexander McQueen has started. But she said it herself that she is getting more comfortable with working for the brand ,and already designed three really amazing collections. For this pre-fall 2011 collection she found the perfect balance to recreate very masculin shapes, to something quite feminin, and beautiful.
I love the military/navy theme. The big, strong belts are the perfect accessories for the outfits. Really strong and odd shapes for most of the collection, but yet most of the outfits werable. The main color palettes are black, navy. Still there were a some touches of red, and only two looks of pink.
