Badgley Mischka, Behnaz Sarafpour, and Calvin Klein Fall 2011

Badgley Mischka

All the nightgowns were beautiful and very wearable. They were simply beautifully designed, and the fabrics and colors were just the last details to make them all so great.

Behnaz Sarafpour
Obviously black was the main color for this collection, but it worked very well. The fur and leather details were very affective and made the outfits more interesting as well.

Calvin Klein
As minimalism and simplicity is what Calvin Klein represents best, it always works for the brand. The color palettes were nudes, beiges, greys, whites and blacks. Very basic but I am sure the clothes are even better in reality.

3.1 Phillip Lim, Anna Sui Fall 2011

What I really loved about this collection was the way the colors and the fabrics were put together and the result was very affective. Different fabrics and color in most outfits which is definitely an amazing thing for an entire collection.

Anna Sui again did a fantastic job at showing a really fun and pretty collection. It makes you smile and that's what she is all about. So many different patterns and the tights' patterns were also really great. The main color palettes were blues, greens, blacks, and some reds/oranges.
Here are some backstage/detailed pictures of the models. :)

Sonia Rykiel Spring 2011 Campaign

THE HAIR. I love it so much. Great ads, and Sonia Rykiel is amazing.

Altuzarra, Jill Stuart & Erin Fetherston

Alturazza

Grunge, and big coats/jackets over summer dresses. That was the collection this fall for Altuarra. I loved the make-up and the red lips, went great with the clothes. Must not forget about those gorgeous shoes (VERY Carrie Bradshaw.)

Jill Stuart

So many different fabrics, patterns and colors. You had everything in this collection. Leather, lace, lots of colors, dresses, pants etc. I love how diverse it was and still looked like a collection, not just a bunch of different pieces put together and sent down the runway.

Erin Fetherston

Minimalism beautifully done. Nude, black, white, being the main colors, this collection was dreamy and chic, but very simple (in a good way). The model was perfect as well as the hair & make-up. Over-all great collection & how it was presented.

Lela Rose,Elise Overland & ADAM Fall 2011

Lela Rose
I'm really in LOVE with the hair & make-up, and the outfits were really dreamy-ish, and chic.

Elise Overland
Such an amazing and unique idea, for showing your collection. On an ice rink. Geniuuuuuuus. There were some skaters that were not models, but they were still wearing the designs from Elise Overland, while skating. The models had each a piece of rug so they wouldn't slip. More, about the clothes, I liked the coats lots, and great patterns!

ADAM
I loved this collection, and the mood it brings SO much. The glasses were the perfect touch for some of the looks. The over-sized sweaters and the long skirts/dresses were superb. I also liked the socks under the stilettos.

Rebecca Minkoff, Norma Kamali & Prabal Gurung Fall 2011

Rebecca Minkoff

Very different pieces, and lots of great detail. I really liked this collection a lot. The fabrics, patterns were mixed so well they were perfect together. These are my top 4 looks from this collection.
Norma Kamali

The thing I liked about these looks was not only how the model posed (it showed off the clothes perfectly), but how vintage looking every piece was. From fringe, to lace, nudes and black. Overall amazing.
Prabal Gurung

Really sophisticated, and most looks very elegant as well. A lot of reds, pales, white, black. Beautiful embroidery and choice of fabrics. The make-up and hair didn't really fit with most of the looks in my opinion, but that still didn't stop me from loving this collection.

Alexander Wang, Christian Siriano & Cynthia Rowley Fall 2011

Alexander Wang

As usual, Alexander designed again a very effortless collection. Comfy, hip, and cool are the words to describe it. There were the never missing blacks, greys, touches of pink, nude, and baby blue. Lovin' the sheer, and the layers, as well as the tops that had the collars with one fabric, and the rest of the blouse with another fabric(usually sheer).

 Christian Siriano

Christiano, went to the dark side this time. Usually he creates lots of colorful gowns, but this time it was more blacks, and strong, defined shapes. Of course there were the ruffled big, amazing gowns, but still with little color. PS those shoes, are quite amazing.

Cynthia Rowley

Luca Luca Fall 2011

This retro collection, inspired by the 70's, was really wearable yet SO chic. Lovin' the leather and fur touches,  and how almost every skirt/pant was high-wasted. Also really liked the shoes in that second look (mustard ones, they matched perfectly.)

Peter Som Fall 2011

The Snooki hair do, and the make-up were the perfect match for the clothes sent down the runway. Bold colors & patterns, strong fabrics, for a confident woman to wear.

Everything needed was in this collection. Skirts, pants, coats, jackets, blazers, blouses, gowns, dresses. For colors there were lots of black, nudes, grays and some blue, red & also lots of white.
I really liked the lace on different fabrics & colors, and how everything didn't look a whole lotta unique, but still hip, elegant, and new/fresh. I love Jason!
